Robert J. Kanjian (Bob) 1944-2025
MWSRA is saddened to announce the passing of beloved member Bob Kanjian. Bob was respected by the membership not only by his service as a referee, past President, as well as other leadership positions, but more for his respect for his fellow referees both on and off the field. Everyone who crossed paths with Bob came away with a smile and a positive thought. He was always encouraging and willing to help on the and off the field both in officiating and personally. He was greatly missed when he retired and moved to Florida. We will all remember him fondly. The family asked for donations (in lieu of flowers) to Rock Steady Boxing Cypress Palms, Laryngectomee Club of Montgomery County, or the charity of your choice in his memory. A virtual celebration will be held March 15, 2025. Bob’s wife Carol plans to move back to the area to be close to her daughter.
